Photograph of an exterior view of Hornitos Lodge Number 98, Free and Accepted Masons Masonic Lodge in Hornitos, Mariposa County, ca.1930. The lodge stands center with two sets of tall double doors. A sign hangs above an awning which sits above a small black box on the lodge's right side. The right wall of the lodge is discolored and a ladder lies in front of a wooden fence that extends from the right side. A wooden structure can be seen on the left with several windows on the visible side. A small lightly-colored fence extends from the structure's right side. Picture file card reads "Hornitos Lodge Number 98, F. and A.M. Masonic Lodge erected in 1850. The only lodge in California privileged to be on the ground floor".
