Description
Young hot rodders are being processed by police at the Lennox station for participating in hot rod racing at 135th and Broadway. The photo caption reads: "Teenagers nabbed in Lennox "hot rod" spree. Apparently unimpressed by the fact that they are under arrest, here are six of 17 persons - 11 of them teenagers - who were nabbed in a crackdown on Lennox "hot rod" racing last night. These youths identified themselves as Mert Dettwiler, 16; Vern Terry, 16; Walter Bier, 17; Earl Wade, 17; Duane Daniel, 17, and an unidentified youth (left to right). They face arraignment in Compton Court today". Photo dated: Sep. 10, 1952.
