Description
Postcard reads "Blythedale, Mill Valley, Cal." No postmark. Made in Germany. The Blithedale Hotel, outbuildings and grounds are pictured in the center of the image, with Mt. Tamalpais in the background and Summit or Middle Ridge at left-center. The hotel was in operation from the 1870's to 1910. Most of the buildings visible on Middle Ridge were burned in the 1929 fire.
