Description: This was the first golf course in the Coachella Valley, dating back to before 1924. The course was replaced with new construction in the 1950s.
Onlookers watch as owners walk their dogs to the judging field at the dog show in Palm Springs, held on the Desert Inn "Mashie" Golf Course on Tahquitz Canyon Way. Two owners at front of line, carry their dogs.
