Description
Poster advertising Salute to Armed Forces Night San Jose Earthquakes vs. Los Angeles Galaxy on June 29, 2013 at Stanford Stadium features Quakes forwards Alan Gordon and Chris Wondolowski and Galaxy forward Robbie Keane and midfielder Landon Donovan. In another Goonies Never Say Die comeback, the Quakes defeated the Gals 3-2. The Galaxy led 2-0 on goals from Marcelo Sarvas in the 20th minute and Hector Jimenez in the 60th. Gordon put the Quakes back into the match with a goal in the 68th. In the 77th, the Quakes lost defender Victor Bernardez to a red card but were able to come back with a goal in the 90+2 by winger Shea Salinas and a goal in the 90+3 by Alan Gordon who received a yellow card for excessive celebration, naturally.
