Description
George Ellery Hale's library inside the Hale Solar Laboratory, Pasadena. In the far wall, large windows are covered with dark curtains. A carved wooden ceiling is seen above the windows. Bookcases with books fill the walls on either side of the window. The library is filled with upholstered chairs, tables and desks. A fireplace is seen in the wall at the far right.
