Photograph caption dated September 7, 1960 reads, "This jumbo mobile voter registration unit will be touring Valley streets during final drive to register all eligible voters for the November election. Drive began Sept. 1 and continues through Sept. 15. Shown with truck are Kenneth Giannos, George Snow and Carl L. Auer of North Hollywood, all taking part in registration drive. At the microphone is Ellis R. Cherry of Van Nuys."
