He is wearing a shirt and moccasins, but his legs are bare. A striped blanket roll is draped across the horses back. Another horse stands just ahead but beside the horse on which the boy sits. The desert is visible in the background. The image is contained in a small oval. All other parts of the image outside the oval are grayed out.
