Photograph caption dated May 22, 1963 reads "Trophy winners at the San Fernando Valley Branch Red Cross annual meeting pose with their awards at the Sportsmen's Lodge Monday. Kneeling in front is Earl Rice, a Pierce College student who shows a trophy the college won for the achievement of the highest percentage of fund-raising on a Valley campus. Front row, from left, Mrs. Robert Feddern, James Whitner [sic], Mrs. Pauline Jenkins. Back row, from left, Mrs. Margaret Raby [sic], Mrs. Floyd Minghini and Jerry Scoggins."
