Description
Photograph of women in bathing suits fishing from an ocean barge, ca.1930. A row of women, each holding a long fishing rod made out of bamboo cane, is visible along the side of the boat and aligned towards the mast, which is viewable diagonally on the extreme head of the boat . Small wooden barrils are noticeable to the right of the women, perhaps used to contain the caught fish. To the right of the center, a large chain which appears to be that of the anchor is partially visible entangled together. Water surrounds the boat and extends into the horizon.
