On back: "Work was underway today for a partial twenty-seventh floor on the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph company's building at 140 New Montgomery street. The addition is to house modern microwave radio relay equipment, according to R. N. Buell, San Francisco division manager for the company. Cost of the addition and the equipment will be approximately $198,000 Buell said. Contractors are Rothschild, Roffin and Weirick of San Francisco.
