On back side of print: (not hand-colored) "Ranch and Residence of James Cornell, Brighton Tp., Sacramento Co., Cal. 14 miles East of Sacramento"; shows Sacramento Valley Railroad locomotive and cars, one for Wells Fargo & Co. Express and U.S. Mail (lower right), house, barn, windmill and other buildings (center), people playing croquet, cows, pigs, and a horse (foreground left), as well as a vignette of a house "M. E.
