William Sutter who slides down pole in North Hollywood firehouse. This pole is one of only two left in Valley firehouses. The other is in Van Nuys. Writer Sorensen spent several days visiting Valley fire stations doing a series of stories on the activities of the fire department, the first of which appears today."
