Description
Photograph of a view of the intersection of Fourth Street and Broadway in Los Angeles looking east, ca.1918. The intersection is in the foreground at center and many pedestrians are crossing. There are two sets of streetcar tracks in the middle of the street and wide concrete sidewalks on the edges. The streets are bordered by several large buildings, all of which are at least four stories high. The O.T. Johnson Building is at left and the Chamber of Commerce and the Broadeay(?) are at right. The Central National Bank is visible as well. There is a bicycle in the foreground at left and an early-model automobile beyond the intersection at center.
