Pictured is Mrs. Guy Whorton, Red Cross staff assistant who "spins platters" in answer to requests filed by bedridden veterans who make known their favored selections through the office of Mrs. Margaret Hargreaves, Red Cross field director, stationed at San Fernando V.A. Hospital. Mrs. Wharton has been serving as a volunteer at the institution for several months and reports that the "men's choices in music range from Back to boogie-woogie."
