Description
Interviewed by Joseph Vercelli ; October 1981, transcription 1994.
Frank De George was a key employee in preparing wines for bottling; in addition, he was the Union Steward for the Teamster's Union who had a labor contract with the Italian Swiss Colony. Frank represented his constituents very well. As a member of the labor-management committee he never lost track that the welfare of the company preceded the demands of the Union. <br>Frank retired from the Italian Swiss Colony after serving more than forty years. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the area in and around Cloverdale
