Photograph caption dated November 9, 1954 reads, "Thursday, two-week old baby llama born at Griffith Park Zoo, compares his size with mother, Tillie II, and father, Mac, at official photographic debut. Thursday is fourth baby llama born at zoo. The South American pack animals are valued for their fur, can protect themselves by spitting up to 20 feet."
