Description
Water from Owens River on eastern slope of High Sierra near Bishop flows 338 miles before it breaks surface near San Fernando and pours over waterfall into nearby reservoir. Huge flow control wheels are visible at top of waterfall. Water pours from falls at rate of 400 second feet.
