"Lindy" goes to the aid of a stricken comrade: carrying pneumonia serum to be used in the treatment of Floyd Bennett, Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh about to start in a Curtiss Observation plane for Quebec -- view 2 (2010-3310). Col. Lindbergh brought his plane to rest on Quebec's historic Plains of Abraham, thus completing his 450-mile flight from New York with serum for Floyd Bennett.
