Photograph of an inn on Pismo Beach near San Luis Obispo, ca.1900. The inn is on a hill at center and is a two-story wooden building with at tower at center. It has a wrap-around balcony and porch, and an American flag flies from the roof. Pismo Beach is in the foreground and is a sandy beach on which several people and horse-drawn carriages are traveling. There is a single-story wooden building in the background at left. Its sides are open and there are several flags on its roof. Several other small structures, including houses and sheds, are visible on the hill behind the beach.
