Description: Exterior view of the Hathaway estate, located at 1809 Apex Ave. in the Silver Lake district. Built in 1923, it is entirely constructed of reinforced concrete. The structure is one of Silverlake's largest estates at 11,743 square feet on a lot of 82,764 square feet and includes a 360 degree view. Charles Hathaway was a director/studio head during the silent movie era.
