Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated December 7, 1960 reads, "Man Overboard! - At least Kenneth Johnson, 17, 5724 Calhoun Ave., Van Nuys, went that way for model Evelyn Bernard, 15159 Greenleaf St., Sherman Oaks, long enough to be enticed onto a Naval Air Reserve recruiting truck in Burbank. Waiting for him were the culprits who devised this grossly unfair bit of camouflage, Chief Bernie Govier, 12707 Hatteras St., north Hollywood, and ADR-1 Bill Morrise, 15139 Tuba St., Mission Hills. The reserve program is looking for recruits between 17 and 31 years to train at Los Alamitos Naval Air Station."
