Photograph dated January 2, 1958 reads "North Hollywood High's coach John Furlong is showing his starting Husky five how to defense [sic] Birmingham Brave's attack as they prepare for the city basketball tournament game Saturday afternoon at Venice. The Huskies have beaten the Braves twice in Valley League competition. Huskies getting instruction are, from left, Al Heimel, Russ White, Bruce Loughner, coach Furlong, Paul Cook and Roger Head."
