Description
According to notes on the back of prints, the woman in white hat and white dress is Mrs. Anna L. Patton. The woman in suit and dark hat is Mrs. Holly Geary, who read The Man with the Hoe at the ceremony. Patton can be seen speaking to Mrs. Emig, President, with J. Martin Smith, Vice President, behind them. The posed group shot is Mrs. L. Emig, President; Mr. Clyde Arbuckle, Historical Landmarks Commission; Mrs. Anna Patton of Berkeley, Speaker; Mrs. H. Geary, Past President; P. M. Weddell, Historical Landmarks Commission.
