"Taken from Broadway, near Kearny Street. Drawn and engraved by Thomas Armstrong, in the Fall of 1849, and re-published by A. Rosenfield, (late of Hutchings and Rosenfield), No. 602 Montgomery Street, near Clay, San Francisco." Includes a legend listing prominent buildings.
