Description
The Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club historical landmark plaque outside of the club. The plaque states the Outdoor Art Club was designed in 1904 by the internationally know American architect, Bernard Maybeck. The architecture is notable for its unusual roof truss system and creative use of natural materials. It was declared a California landmark April 26, 1979. The club was started in 1902 by 35 Mill Valley women.
