Description
Photograph of a view of the ivy-covered porch of Colonel Purcell's old adobe house in San Gabriel, June 4, 1930. The house can be seen in the distance at center. It is a two-story building with dormer windows projecting out of the wood-shingled roof. A wide covered porch is visible in front of the building, and ivy can be seen growing up the support columns. Several large trees can be seen around the house, and a row of bushes is visible across the image in the foreground.
