Black ledger used as a scrapbook, created by owners, and containing: 1) photographs of Southern Lumber buildings 2) clippings and activities related to San Jose annexation of surrounding area 3) Ed Pohle drawings, correspondence 4) "Sylvester" advertising 5) Photos of demonstration cabin built c. 1941 6) Photos of shop interior 7) McAbee Brothers Timber Company certificate of incorporation (June 27, 1904). 8) Homestead Certificate issued to Charles A. Copeland (February 10, 1882) A collection of loose clippings on City of San Jose annexation of surrounding areas (c. 1951-1953) found inside this scrapbook has been photocopied and is available in the reference files in the Research Library & Archives under History--San Jose--1950s.
