Description
Charles Handy article describing new demands for the Nineties work environment and businesses. Handy begins the article describing how people need to be individuals and to take responsibility for their own work through signing it. He goes on to state the importance of having women in the workforce, how people having more control over the hours they work and where they work can lead to greater productivity, and the strength of managing in outputs versus inputs. Lastly, Handy emphasizes the importance of education and a consistently educated workforce in capitalist societies to make businesses successful and survive.
