Photograph caption dated January 20, 1960 reads "'I didn't know she was expecting,' said Mrs. Maxine Preciado, 14742 Covello St., Van Nuys, of her 4 1/2-year-old samoyed, Mitzi, who produced almost record litter of 10 pups as surprise. One died. Pups are mixed cocker-samoyed and Mrs. Preciado will give them to persons willing to provide homes. They may call ST-1-4155."
