Photograph of a painting by Einar Corsten Petersen, depicting a stage coach arriving in California, ca.1860. Three cowboys sit at the helm of the coach, the one at center waving his hat above his head, driving the group of four horses pulling the coach down the hill towards the city at right. Parcels are lashed to the top of the coach's cabin. Picture file card reads: "Stage Arriving in Cal.".
