Photograph caption date stamped December 26, 1964 reads "San Fernando Valley Free Lancers football squad motored to Mexicali, Mexico, this morning to take part in Sunday's Friendship Bowl game against Salveterria High School. Col. Mike Blankenship provided a Northridge Military Academy bus for the team, fans and friends. Pictured are some of the players who will take part in the game, from left: Front row--Mike Fernicola, Ray Loll, Tim Brandon and Mike O'Weeger; rear--Coach John Nottingham, Bill Siart, Dave Roberts, Ray Lupacchini and Tom Connolly."
