Description
Engraved map in colors, 34.5 x 32.5, issued by Isaak Tirion Amsterdam, 1765. Some of the names have been changed into Dutch and we have the Maria Hermosos for Morro Hermos. The map only extends to 34 1/2° on the California coast, just below which St. Bernardo is shown. Anson's map (558) seems to have furnished the inspiration for Tirion.
