Photograph caption dated October 28, 1949 reads, "Birthday Kiss. Mrs. Isabella Horton received a kiss from actor son Edward Everett Horton at her 90th natal anniversary at new First Presbyterian Church, Encino. Present at celebration were her two other sons, her daughter and 150 guests. Church parlor was named for Mrs. Horton. Each guest contributed 90 cents to Valley Vesper League, sponsors of party, in honor of Mrs. Horton."
