Description
Black and white photograph printed onto a postcard showing a Nigerian man in a light Western style suit, holding a cane. He sits on the arm of a chair, where his wife sits with their young child on her knee. His wife wears a light Western style smart dress with a hat and a string of pearls. Their baby is dressed in white. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital, a Methodist Missionary Society facility in southeast Nigeria.
