Photograph caption dated October 7, 1961 reads "Carylee Darnell, 17, 5211 Avenida Hacienda Ave., Tarzana, will reign as queen of the Tarzana Lions Club 'White Cane Days,' while Alison Dawn Curley, 5, 18273 Roseta St., will assist her as a little princess. The beauties will aid in the Lions club campaign to raise $3,000 for the blind this year. The queen and her court--which includes ladies-in-waiting Jean Seely and Louis Jean, both 17--will appear at the Tarzana Branch of the Bank of America Oct. 20 when the campaign gets under way."
