Mary Pickford was a Canadian-born silent film actress, famously known as "America's sweetheart," co-founder of American Artists film studio, and one of the original founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Buddy Rogers was an actor and a jazz musician.; Jeanette MacDonald was an American singer and actress best remembered for her musical films of the 1930s. She died January 14, 1965.
Photograph caption dated January 19, 1965 reads "Mary Pickford and husband Buddy Rogers leave the chapel." The two are leaving services for Jeanette MacDonald at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
