View 1 (2008-0657). "Power House Kern River Canyon". Shows several buildings grouped around an open space at bottom of rocky canon. Pipelines visible on hillside -- view 2 (2008-0658). "Tube from tunnel to turbines. Wastewater". Shows pipeline midway up hill and entrance to tunnel marked with red arrow -- view 3 (2008-0659). "Looking up Kern River Canon, May 1905". Shows Kern River at bottom of canon, pipeline running along left hillside and down to river. Footbridge crosses bottom of stream.
Hydroelectric power plant on the Kern River, at the mouth of Kern Canyon. By 1902, acquired by Power, Transit and Light Company.
