Annotation translation: "The mighty Cameroon Mountain (4020 m.) as seen from the south." - "In the haze of evening the large and small Cameroon Mountains can be seen far away. Mangrove woods encroach on the mighty estuary of the Cameroon River. In the foreground dark silhouettes of banana trees whose leaves have been shredded [by wind]." - "Vollbehr Art Postcards, Cameroon." Annotation: "Der grosse Kamerunberg, von Süden aus gesehen (4020m hoch) Kamerun." - "Im Abenddunst liegt in weiter duftiger Ferne der kleine und der grosse Kamerunberg. In das grosse Strombecken des Kamerunflusses schieben sich Mangrovenwälder hinein und im Vordergrunde schaut man dunkle Silhouetten von zerfetzten Bananenstauden." - "Vollbehr-Künstlerpostkarten 'Kamerun'."
