Photograph article dated June 29, 1956 reads, "A young Tarzana roofer hit the ceiling when he was socked $75 on a battery complaint brought by his fiancee. $35 on a traffic warrant, and $69 in bail on another traffic warrant. Municipal Judge Martin Katz levied the battery and $35 traffic fines against John Perricone, 23, of 5111 Lindley Ave., Tarzana, yesterday and then a warrant officer from the Central Traffic Division presented him with the $69 citation for neglecting to appear on another traffic offenses [sic]. Perricone's fiancee, who refused to disclose her name, said they planned to be married tomorrow, but the hapless roofer said he might have difficulty raising $2 for a marriage license."
