Photograph of a Chinese man working an apparatus with ropes, possibly sifting rice, [s.d.]. At center, a man in a smock stands on a slightly elevated platform, holding a rope with both hands. The rope extends to the right over a basket of what appears to be rice, while nearer to the man's elbows, a stick is held, affixed to two more rope which extend toward the ceiling. Photo sleeve reads "Copied October 1930".
