Description
Flatbed truck loaded with boxes of fruit parked near corner of cinder-block constructed drier building, with two chimneys. Pallets of fruit crates can be seen in the background, with orchards behind them. Text accompanying photo: "1927, First year of consequence in sale of unsulphured, dehydrated apricots. Cannery quality raw materials. A hand work operation patterned after the best dry yard practice at the time. Approximately 50 tons (dried weight) was sold for baby food manufacturing,"
