Photograph caption dated August 14, 1947 reads "Carl V. Oldham, left, 17-year old San Fernando youth, is signed up for a tour [illegible] the Air Force Military police." He is being signed up by Army Staff Sergeant Harold G. Pinkerton at the San Fernando post office.
