Description
Additional information here informs the visitor that "The shape of this pagoda [Stūpa] is the shape of the myrobalan fruit (Amalakakara). It is said that the relic of the Lord Buddha (a part of his belt) and the jewels of Queen Soma have been enshrined in this pagoda." We note also that the present diameter of this stupa is 38 feet.
