Photograph of Lillian and Harry Matsumoto, superintendents of the Children's Village at Manzanar incarceration camp, and a baby sitting in the park near the Children's Village.
The collection was donated by Ralph "Pete" Merritt, Jr. and Patricia Merritt. It is comprised of photographs from an album created by L. Josephine Hawes, the Chief Nurse at the Manzanar Hospital, and individual photographs collected by Ralph P. Merritt, the Project Director of the Manzanar War Relocation Center.
