Photograph caption dated August 29, 1988 reads, "'I didn't prepare anything because I didn't think he'd win,' joked Tony Danza of best supporting actor winner John Shea. Danza, designated award accepter, 'picked up' eight awards last night." The awards program was held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on September 28, 1988.
