Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated November 6, 1963 reads, "Forty guests are about to be entertained in Studio City and bachelors Dan Myers, putting the finishing touches on food-laden table, and Ralph Clark, holding the chafing dish full of grape-jelly embroiled meat balls, first photo, are ready. Bill Blanchard, center photo, gets a sample of the relish tray from Myers. The three prepared the food and as the cocktail party - only it's called a 'bash,' One Rule - proceeds, Mayerene Barker samples the hors d'oeuvres. The three bachelors realized there are certain rules to follow when getting ready for a bash. Briefly, the rules involve starting the party early, determine which bachelor will do what, delegate one to go to the supermarket - alone, two cooks might spoil the pot, and be simple in food preparation." Pictured are Dan Myers (rear) and Ralph Clark (forefront). Ralph Clark is a Valley Times staff writer.; See images #00127809 through #00127812 for all photos in this series.
