Photograph caption dated December 21, 1954 reads "Before more than 100 General Motors executives and their wives attending dinner dance in the Crystal Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel, the new president of the G. M. Club, J. H. Allen (right), plant manager Chevrolet-Los Angeles is congratulated by (the retiring president) M. J. Leahy, branch manager of Motors Insurance Corporation."
