In this audio recording Frances Hesselbein interviews Peter Drucker for his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This volume of the tape is entitled, “People and Relationships.” Drucker begins by explaining the relationship between the Board and the workers. He says that a company should build on workers strengths, not weaknesses to develop people. He discusses the importance of mentoring an incoming worker. Drucker talks about how performance is what counts when hiring a new employee. He says that non-profits should focus on the success of the institute. He ends the discussion by describing how to work with volunteers, and that constant communication is key.
