Description: Marc Bruvry and Dick Spotswood in costume during a 1990 reenactment of Mill Valley's 1890 land auction . The reenactment, sponsored by the Mill Valley Historical Society, took place in Old Mill Park. Marc Bruvry is a former president of the Mill Valley Historical Society. Dick Spotswood is a Marin Independent Journal political columnist and a former Mill Valley mayor.
